Air Force Junior Reserve Officer's Training Corps (AFJROTC)
AFJROTC will provide retiring Airmen and Guardians who are interested in teaching and mentoring high school students in the areas of citizenship, community service, responsibility, and self-discipline, the opportunity to observe and assist with air and space fundamentals instruction as an AFJROTC Instructor intern. ABOUT THE JOB
Senior Aerospace Science Instructor (SASI), Aerospace Science Instructor (ASI) Instructors are all retired military members of the Department of the Air Force. Normally, one retired officer and one retired enlisted are employed by the school at each program. While Air Force Junior ROTC instructors are retired military members, they continue to wear their Air Force uniform (at their retired grade) in the performance of their duties. As such, instructors are required to meet and maintain uniform wear, grooming, and weight standards during their tenure as instructors.

QUALIFICATIONS

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
None – Retiring Air Force/Space Force personnel in the grades of E-6 to E-9 and O-4 to O-6 from all AFSCs are eligible to apply.
