Field Engineering Coordinator
The Field Engineer Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting field technician and engineering operations through documentation management, system updates, and real-time coordination. Key duties include preparing pre-site visit documentation, maintaining project records in Microsoft Dynamics Field Service and FileMaker Pro, and assisting field technicians with data and report updates. This role also involves updating documentation across Microsoft Office platforms and generating reports based on in-house templates. Additional responsibilities include assisting with project-related procurement, developing CAD-based floorplan diagrams, tracking key process indicators, and identifying opportunities for workflow improvements. The coordinator will be expected to work across multiple platforms, ensuring accurate and timely data entry and supporting the smooth execution of field operations.

Job Title: Field Engineer Support Coordinator Location: Remote (Must be available from 10 AM – 4 PM EDT) Job Type: Part-Time (Potential to transition into a full-time role) About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Field Engineer Support Coordinator to assist our field engineering team. This pivotal role ensures that our engineers and technicians have the information, tools, and support they need for seamless on-site operations. The ideal candidate will be skilled in organizing project data, managing documentation, and driving workflow improvements. Key Responsibilities: Update project requirements, work orders, and assignments in Microsoft Dynamics Field Service (prior experience with Dynamics is a plus, but not required). Generate pre-site visit documentation to prepare engineers for field deployments. Provide real-time support to deployed field technicians, including service report updates and data corrections. Maintain and update field data across multiple platforms including MS Office, Field Service, and FileMaker Pro (prior FileMaker experience not required). Draft professional reports using in-house templates. Assist with project-related procurement processes and tracking. Develop and update CAD floorplan diagrams as needed. Identify and implement workflow and process improvements to increase team efficiency. Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to support project delivery and performance evaluation.
