Emergency Management Technician/Specialist

This is an opportunity with the Bureau of Reclamation which is a Federal Agency within the Department of the Interior.

ABOUT THE JOB

The incumbent serves and an Emergency Management Specialist with emergency preparedness and security program duties. Responsible for assisting the Lead Emergency Management Specialist (EMS) in the administration, coordination, and oversight/surveillance of the emergency preparedness and response programs, which includes; training, exercise development, and delivery of a wide range of emergency topics.

RESPONSIBILITIES✨

• Assisting the Lead Emergency Management Specialist in the administration of emergency preparedness and response programs.
• Coordinating the oversight and surveillance of emergency preparedness and response programs.
• Developing and delivering training and exercises on a wide range of emergency topics.

QUALIFICATIONS✨

• Education and training in Emergency Response Procedures.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY

The ideal candidate for this opportunity has some education and training in Emergency Response Procedures and enjoys ensuring the team and the American Public enjoy a safe environment.
