EquipmentShare.com
EquipmentShare is a rapidly growing organization with opportunities across the US and the SkillBridge program will be used to recruit Service members into these different locations across the US. At EquipmentShare, we understand that no two Service members are the same and they leave the Service with different skillsets at different levels. The primary focus of our veteran recruitment program is to find Service members who possess strong leadership and mechanical skills to either be mechanics, service managers or general managers. As the veteran recruitment program grew in 2021, we quickly learned that veterans possess valuable skills outside heavy equipment technician roles. The average internship at an EquipmentShare shop will last about ninety days with the intern completing rotations in the following areas: yard operations, shop maintenance operations, field maintenance operations, service management, parts management, transportation operations, and sales operations. Since the military shares similar values and maintenance operations as EquipmentShare, we require that all of our interns spend at least two weeks conducting yard operations to bridge the gap between the military and industry. This method has been wildly successful as much of the business's revenue is dependent on our shops' success.
