DOD SkillBridge SME Track
This 12-week SkillBridge training program prepares transitioning service members to serve as operational SMEs supporting Air Force Special Warfare missions. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of AFSPECWAR doctrine, current systems, and tactical capabilities while learning to design and evaluate performance-based training programs. Through a hybrid instructional model—including classroom instruction, online research, field observation, and hands-on curriculum development—participants will learn to translate operational knowledge into instructional content, recommend capability enhancements, and assess mission performance. The program culminates in a capstone project focused on real-world training challenges, evaluated for clarity, doctrinal alignment, and practical impact. Graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion and earn hours applicable toward ISD credentialing.
