We are experienced, precise, problem solvers who look to the future. ABOUT THE ROLE:We’re looking for a mid-level Systems Engineer to support our Coast Guard team in Dahlgren, VA. Dahlgren is located near Fredericksburg, VA and between Washington, DC and Richmond, VA. You’ll be supporting The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) V20 program on a United States Coast Guard (USCG) task. ABOUT THE JOB

Technology Service Corporation (TSC) welcomes transitioning military personnel to apply for our internship program through SkillBridge.TSC is an employee-owned, high-technology company primarily engaged in providing engineering services to the U.S. Government. For over 50 years, we have developed and manufactured technologies that detect, defend, and defeat threats to personnel and strategic resources. TSC's employees have strong technical knowledge and experience to develop and implement advanced technical solutions in key disciplines such as systems engineering, sensor technology, C4ISR, logistics, and information systems.Description: Under direct supervision, the SkillBridge intern will gain civilian work experience by performing various tasks and assignments for TSC's professional staff in such disciplines as Engineering, Software Development, Database Management, Security Threat Analysis as outlined in the approved training program. The TSC SkillBridge program is an opportunity for service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service.Required Skills:High motivation, creativity, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environmentAbility to work well as part of a teamStrong communications skillsRequired Experience:Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical field5 years of experiencePreferred Experience:Masters Degree in Engineering or related field10+ years of experienceExperience in DoD industry and US Military Service Branch*Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from TSC, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members.
