NPS Education Technician

The DOD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. ABOUT THE JOB

The SkillBridge Education Technician at San Antonio Missions National Historical Park will assist the Education Coordinator with the Education Program, to include coordinating and presenting curriculum-based education programs to schools in the park, in the classroom, and through distance-learning, utilizing teaching methods appropriate to each grade level from pre-school up to adults. Conducts basic research and assists with the development of curriculum-based education program objectives, lesson plans, and resource materials. Will work with other team members to serve up to thousands of students each year. May help with interpretive programs, informal interpretation, responding to visitor inquiries, or emergencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES✨
