The Generative AI Technician SkillBridge program prepares transitioning service members for entry-level technology roles that support the application, deployment, and responsible use of generative artificial intelligence tools in business and organizational environments. Participants gain hands-on experience with AI-enabled systems, data workflows, automation tools, and ethical AI practices aligned with current industry use cases. This program emphasizes practical skills that complement information technology, analytics, operations, and business support roles, helping participants transition into a rapidly growing segment of the modern workforce.
As an entry-level Generative AI Technician, graduates may support business, technology, or analytics teams by assisting with the implementation and use of AI-enabled tools and platforms. Typical responsibilities may include supporting data preparation workflows, configuring AI tools for operational use, assisting with prompt development, monitoring system outputs, documenting processes, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and ethical standards. Graduates are prepared for roles such as AI support technician, automation technician, data operations assistant, or technology support specialist, with opportunities for advancement through continued training and experience.
