OceanFirst Bank Facilities Adminstrator
The Facilities Administrator SkillBridge Job Training Program at OceanFirst Bank is designed to prepare service members for roles in administrative, operational, and facilities support. Over a six-month period, participants will engage in hands-on work assignments, mentorship, and online learning to develop skills in facility management, safety protocols, equipment support, and administrative tasks. The program includes job shadowing, role-specific training, and final assessments to ensure career readiness. Upon completion, participants will gain knowledge in project management, facilities maintenance, and security procedures, and will be equipped for post-SkillBridge employment.
ABOUT THE JOB
WHAT YOU WILL DO:1. Manage daily office operations and administrative tasks. 2. Coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, and improvements.3. Review and process all department related invoices. 4. Oversee office supplies, equipment, and inventory management for headquarter locations. 5. Assist in planning and executing office moves and renovations. Maintain and update seating layouts using the provided software program. 6. Assists in the coordination of branch assessments, consolidations, construction/upgrades, relocations, M&A, and other projects. 7. Respond promptly to facility requests and facility related concerns. 8. Assists Security Specialist as needed with documentation and movement of company-owned vehicles. 9. Assists in other administrative tasks to include updating reports, databases, policies and procedures, and special projects as directed. 10. Assists in coordination and execution of training and outreach, including creating and distributing training materials, and outreach articles and other communications. 11. Ensures appropriate visitor management processes are followed and be aware of and report suspicious activity. Provides assistance in the coordination of the fire/evacuation plan for the Corporate Office. 12. Assist with company mailroom activites which include sorting incoming mail, applying postage to outgoing mail and receiving packages/deliveries. 13. Performs other duties as assigned by the department and Manager. WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:• Critical member of team. Ability to assist with reports, manuals, and business correspondence.• Proven ability to follow general directions and prioritize multiple duties to maintain smooth office operation.• Ability to maintain and report on confidential information in an appropriate manner.
