The Law Enforcement Specialist role emphasizes building expertise in immigration status determination, database analysis, interagency collaboration. A logical progression of skills, combining theoretical learning, hands-on practice, and assessments to build proficiency in law enforcement support operations, data analysis, and leadership responsibilities.
The Law Enforcement Specialist supports law enforcement operations and investigations and is a critical point of contact for the law enforcement community on matters, concerning, for example, criminal and civil investigations relating to financial, smuggling, public safety, critical infrastructure, national security, arms and strategic technology and human smuggling. The majority of the analytical work produced is utilized in furtherance of case development, presentations to the United States Attorney's Office and prosecutorial presentations in grand jury and trial proceedings.
