Policy and Process Improvement Analyst
ABOUT THE JOB
- Policy Development: Developing and revising institutional policies in alignment with the goals and objectives of the university or educational institution. This could involve researching best practices, consulting with stakeholders, and drafting policy documents.- Policy Analysis: Conducting analysis on existing policies to assess their effectiveness, relevance, and compliance with regulations. This may involve evaluating feedback from stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending changes or updates to policies.- Documentation Management: Managing the documentation process for policies, including maintaining a central repository for all policy documents, ensuring version control, and organizing documentation for easy access and reference.- Compliance Monitoring: Monitoring compliance with policies across the institution, including tracking implementation, identifying gaps or areas of non-compliance, and working with relevant departments to address issues and ensure adherence to policies.- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with various stakeholders, including senior leadership, faculty, staff, and external partners, to gather input, communicate policy changes, and ensure buy-in and support for policy initiatives.- Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that institutional policies adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as federal or state laws, accreditation standards, and industry regulations. QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in policy development and analysis.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance related to higher education.
- Ability to manage complex documentation and compliance monitoring systems.
- Strong communication skills for effective policy communication and stakeholder engagement.
