Food & Beverage Marketing and Sales Sports Media Inc. is a leading sports media company that is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Food & Beverage Manager/Banquet Sales professional to join our team. As a Remote Food & Beverage Manager/Banquet Sales, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing all aspects of food and beverage services for our events, banquets and conferences. This is a remote position that requires exceptional communication, organizational and leadership skills.

ABOUT THE JOB

Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement menus, pricing strategies and marketing plans for all food and beverage services, including special events, conferences and banquets. • Manage all aspects of the food and beverage operations, including ordering, inventory control, staffing, scheduling, and training. • Collaborate with event planners, sales team and other stakeholders to plan and execute all events to meet and exceed client expectations. • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation and quality control standards and regulations. • Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of food and beverage items. • Manage budgets and financial reporting for food and beverage operations. • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback and industry best practices to continuously improve food and beverage services. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field, or equivalent experience. • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, cost control, inventory management, and sanitation and safety practices. • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software applications. • Knowledge of catering software, such as Caterease or Tripleseat, is a plus. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
