FunctionsThrough this program, __________What The Farm Life, LLC________________ is seeking motivated Interns to work and learn at our _____farm________ located in _Virginia Beach_, VA. The successful candidate will participate in a practical, structured, systematic program of on-the-job training AND related instruction to develop existing military technical experience. Internship can be tailorable from 4 – 20 weeks long (depending on availability) and can only commence within 180 days before leaving active duty service.
ABOUT THE JOB
Interns will participate in daily chores to move and feed livestock with regenerative agriculture practices. Additionally they will learn animal husbandry of cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens, turkeys and bees. Interns will become proficient in farmers markets, farm finances and marketing.
