EPIC’s Skill Bridge program provides service members transitioning to civilian work, the opportunity to explore and begin a career in the insurance industry. Job openings are in roles that provide service and support of our clients and internal partners. The program enables transitioning service members to begin a lifelong successful career in the insurance brokerage industry through learning and developing skills in areas such as risk management, employee benefits, claims and personal insurance.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Skill Bridge Account Manager at EPIC Brokers, you will oversee a comprehensive range of business insurance policies, ensuring timely renewals, accurate invoicing, and effective management of endorsements, cancellations, audits, and notices. You will collaborate closely with producers and internal teams, support sales and service during renewal marketing, and leverage EPIC resources for presentations. Additionally, you will assist in cross-selling opportunities, analyze current policies, and manage client relationships. The role includes completing the necessary licensing for Property and Casualty or Life and Health insurance, gaining practical experience, and using this program as a steppingstone to a full-time career. Ideal candidates are active military servicemembers transitioning to civilian roles, with a college degree or equivalent experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong competencies in service focus, information seeking, composure, communication, conflict management, analytical thinking, accountability, and time management.
RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

- Willingness to study for and successfully complete Property and Casualty licensing requirements.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
Education: College degree preferred or equivalent working experience. Military Transition: Current active military servicemember seeking a Skill Bridge transition role, available for a minimum of 4 months (ideally 6 months).Licensing: Willingness to study for and successfully complete Property and Casualty licensing requirements. Software Proficiency: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software) preferred. Required Competencies: Service focused, information seeking, composure and resiliency, communication skills, conflict management, accountability, and time Management.
