Lead cybersecurity and identity solution strategy, executive communications, enterprise/federal account strategy, go-to-market planning, and cross-functional alignment in a commercial cybersecurity company.
The Vice President, Solutions & Security Strategy will be the senior customer-facing executive responsible for translating Proximia’s technology into security, mission, and business outcomes; helping build strategic markets, including government and defense; supporting and leading complex customer pursuits; shaping product and go-to-market strategy; and serving as a trusted security executive with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Experience in cybersecurity, cyber operations, enterprise architecture, technology strategy, solutions engineering, or technical business development, with demonstrated ability to translate complex security capabilities into operational and business outcomes. Experience as the senior/lead technical resource on strategic, executive-level sales cycles, comfortable setting deal strategy alongside sales and company leadership, not just executing a technical scope. Working knowledge of enterprise identity infrastructure: Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory, SSO/SAML/OIDC, MFA, RDP/SSH/VDI environments, and modern endpoint or SaaS security stacks. Working fluency, or the ability to rapidly develop expertise, in authentication standards and frameworks: FIDO2, WebAuthn, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, and NIST SP 800-63B. A track record of leading technical evaluations and POCs with enterprise buyers, including navigating security, compliance, and procurement stakeholders. Working knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to our customers (SOC 2, HIPAA) and how they shape technical requirements. Familiarity with the government and defense security landscape (FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST SP 800-171/RMF) and what it takes to move a security product through federal or DoD authorization and procurement. Excellent communication skills: equally comfortable whiteboarding architecture with engineers and briefing a CISO, program manager, or executive sponsor. A bias toward practical, systems-level problem solving over theory; you'd rather ship a working integration than write a white paper about one. Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, conferences, and team gatherings.
