ABOUT THE JOB

Tenant Relations:Establish and maintain positive relationships with tenants.Handle tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.Negotiate lease agreements, renewals, and terminations.Implement tenant retention strategies to minimize vacancies.Maintenance and Repairs:Conduct property inspections and schedule preventive maintenance.Coordinate repairs and maintenance tasks with contractors and service providers.Ensure safety protocols and emergency response procedures are in place.Promote sustainability and energy-efficient practices within the properties.Financial Management:Manage rent collection, ensuring timely payments.Develop and maintain property budgets.Analyze investment opportunities and property valuations.Address taxation and insurance considerations.Marketing and Leasing:Develop marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants.Oversee the leasing process, including tenant screenings and lease signings.Utilize digital marketing and social media for property promotion.Conduct market analysis to optimize property positioning.Legal Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Assess and mitigate risks associated with property management.Uphold fair housing laws and prevent discrimination.Manage contracts and engage in legal negotiations when necessary.Technology Integration:Utilize property management software for efficient operations.Leverage data analytics tools for informed decision-making.Maintain cybersecurity and data privacy protocols.Stay updated on technology trends in property management.Soft Skills and Career Development:Demonstrate leadership skills and collaborate effectively with teams.Implement time management techniques for efficient work.Network with industry professionals and seek professional development opportunities.Build resumes and prepare for job interviews.Capstone Project and Evaluation:Apply learned skills in a real-world property management project.Present findings and outcomes to showcase competency.Engage in continuous learning and self-improvement.
