Aermetric’s SkillBridge program trains transitioning military aircraft maintainers as Reliability Analysts for U.S. defense programs. Over 12 weeks, participants work remotely and learn to classify maintenance defects by Work Unit Code, analyze reliability data in Excel and SQL, identify chronic issues and top degraders, and assist in producing reliability reports for DoD program offices. Training combines online instruction with one-on-one mentorship from Aermetric’s CTO, Director of Data Science and Program Manager, and approved 180-day requests extend the hands-on training. Skills obtained are highly marketable to commercial and DoD aviation maintenance intelligence and technical operations divisions.
