Lyon Shield Security is currently hiring professional and reliable Overnight Security Officers for a residential/mixed-use property in Charlotte, NC.
This position is for individuals who understand that security is an active role — not a sitting post. We are specifically looking for officers who are dependable, alert, accountable, and capable of conducting consistent walking patrols throughout an entire overnight shift.IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYINGTHIS IS A STRICTLY OVERNIGHT POSITIONShift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AMMust be available to work overnight hours consistentlyWeekend and holiday availability may be requiredApplicants who cannot reliably work overnight shifts should not applyTHIS IS A HIGH-ACTIVITY WALKING PATROL POSITIONOfficers will:Conduct walking patrols every 45 mins throughout the propertyPatrol multiple buildings, stairwells, parking areas, and common areasComplete scheduled NFC/guard tour checkpointsRemain highly visible and proactive throughout the shiftMonitor for suspicious activity, trespassing, disturbances, and safety concernsWrite detailed incident and activity reportsEnforce property rules and maintain a professional presenceRespond appropriately to emergencies and resident concernsWhile officers will have designated post locations between patrols, the primary responsibility of this position is ACTIVE FOOT PATROLS throughout the property.What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for officers who are:Dependable and consistently on timeProfessional in appearance and communicationAccountable and able to follow post proceduresComfortable working independently overnightPhysically capable of extended walking patrolsDetail-oriented and observantAble to remain alert throughout a 12-hour overnight shiftRequirementsMust have reliable transportationMust possess a working smartphoneMust be able to use reporting and patrol tracking softwarePrior security experience preferredMust be able to stand and walk for extended periodsClean and professional appearance requiredMust be able to pass background screening requirement
