Troopster is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Development Intern to support and propel forward our mission of supporting deployed troops. In this hands-on role, you will gain knowledge and experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, and relationship management. This is a remote opportunity, but EST time zone is preferred.

ABOUT THE JOB

By the end of the internship, the service member will gain familiarity with donor relations, nonprofit fundraising, event management, and transferable skills across the core competencies needed for a successful career driving revenue generation and growth for mission-driven organizations. Responsibilities: - Assist with development opportunities across the organization. - Learn to manage a CRM and use it to improve current processes. - Build communication skills and rapport during donor meetings. - Assist with complex event logistics. - Research sponsors and develop partnerships aligned to mutual interests. IMPORTANT: This is a complex role with a lot of learning opportunities. This role will provide valuable insight into director level nonprofit positions.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY

- Experience working with officers and professionals in the daily work setting. - Strong communication skills a must with an ability to build rapport and relationships. - Detail-oriented and organized. - Outgoing and motivated.
