Our company is reliant on our field employees to bring projects to finish accurately, on time and on budget. Building and servicing both commercial and industrial projects, our field employees have been the backbone of our workforce for the last 98 years. Construction Wireman is an entry level position that is the building block of our workforce. The experience gained on each jobsite carries from jobsite to jobsite through an electrician’s career. Construction Wiremen assist Journeyman Wireman in the installation of all aspects of the electrical, data, and/or fire-alarm package of a building project.
Material Install – Installation of materials associated with electrical, data, and fire-alarm systems. (65%) Tasks to include, but not limited to: o Cutting and bending conduito Installation of Metal Clad (MC) Cableo Pulling wireo Ceiling and In-Wall rough ino Device/Fixture installationo Finish trim outClean Up – Cleaning of the work area, picking up used/scrap material, sweep, etc.(20%)Apprenticeship Training – One day each week from 1PM-7PM, attend formal, in-person classes and training. (15%)
* High School Diploma/GED* Basic reading comprehension, basic math skills, ability to read a tape measure, a strong work ethic, and punctuality
