Our Skillbridge program at Halcyon Days Consulting provides transitioning service members the opportunity to gain hands-on, industry-relevant experience in cloud engineering while still on active duty. Participants work alongside experienced engineers to support the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. The program emphasizes practical application of cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, automation, and DevOps best practices, preparing participants for a seamless transition into full-time cloud engineering roles upon separation from military service.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Design and implement complex computer and information networks (LANs, WANs, intranets, extranets).Perform network modeling, capacity planning, and infrastructure analysis.Design and implement network and computer security measures. Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software. Plan and lead high-impact technology projects and assignments. Evaluate system performance and recommend significant changes. Act as technical expert across multiple concurrent projects.
