The Machinist is a non-technical degree role which: • Provides a high level of quality, technical experience, and machining experience. • Set ups and operates conventional, special purpose and CNC machines.• Develops specifications and produces parts.• Works under the observation and guidance of a qualified Machinist or Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up, operation of conventional, special purpose and CNC machines
- Identify and set up required tooling jobs
- Calculate precise measurements and set controls for accuracy
- Develop specifications and produce parts
- Read, maintain and calibrate precision measuring tools
- Discuss repair order problems with Field Representatives and Customers to determine work order repairs
QUALIFICATIONS
- High level of quality, technical experience, and machining experience
- Ability to work under the observation and guidance of a qualified Machinist or Supervisor
- Cost awareness
- Inventory management / budget cost
