Whether you would like to work in California or Florida, New York or Seattle, we have opportunities for you!This position has starting dates year around.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Understand and assist with developing conceptual site models.Collect and evaluate environmental data in field and office settings.Prepare investigation reports and drawings.Independent field work and leadership of field teams.Contractor oversight including supervision of the advancement of soil borings and monitoring well installation.Develop cost estimates associated with field-related activities.Learn and develop a keen understanding of hazard recognition and environmental investigation and remediation.Ability to demonstrate a primarily technical role in multiple site characterization, subsurface investigation, and remediation projects.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Geological Sciences, or a related field.Preferred Qualifications:OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification.Great oral and written communication skills, including technical report writing skills.Ability to collect and evaluate environmental data in field and office settings.Ability to prepare investigation reports and help coordinate preparation of drawings.Independent field work and leadership of field teams.Keen understanding of hazard recognition for environmental investigations and remediation projects.Proficient with basic computer programs like MS Word and MS Excel.
