Upon completion of this module, the participant will be able to safely perform and support aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer maintenance manuals, and company procedures, while demonstrating proper documentation, compliance awareness, and professional maintenance practices within a Part 145 environment.
Aviation Maintenance TechnicianResponsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer manuals, and company procedures. Ensures aircraft airworthiness, documents all work performed accurately, and supports safe, timely return to service. May assist with parts coordination, inspections, and maintenance planning as required.

SkillBridge participants are expected to provide their own basic personal hand tools commonly required for entry-level aviation maintenance tasks. Helicopter Services, Inc. will provide all specialized, calibrated, and company-specific tooling required to perform maintenance in compliance with FAA Part 145 requirements. This expectation will be clearly communicated to the participant prior to program start.
