ABOUT THE JOB

A fabricator is an energetic, quality-conscious individual with the desire to learn and work as a team. The person has the ability to work with and obtain tight tolerances on parts; checks own work with gauges, calipers and micrometers to document results; has knowledge on various fabrication processes including MIG, TIG, and arc welding; can work with nuclear and commercial level quality requirements, possess strong 'shop math' skills; can read blueprints, and has good problem solving skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with and obtain tight tolerances on parts
• Check own work with gauges, calipers, and micrometers to document results
• Knowledge on various fabrication processes including MIG, TIG, and arc welding

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a US citizen
• Subject to drug and alcohol tests
• Possess strong 'shop math' skills
• Ability to read blueprints
• Good problem solving skills
