Working directly with the Director of Communications, you will help execute regional outreach strategies, manage media tracking, and maintain our digital presence. This role is designed for a transitioning service member looking to translate their communication, coordination, and leadership skills into a career in public policy or corporate PR.
The Public Relations Coordinator provides vital support to the Director of Communications and Government/Public Relations (DCGPR) in executing the MTA’s communication strategies. This role focuses on the day-to-day coordination of public outreach, media tracking, and digital content maintenance to foster positive relationships with the community, stakeholders, and government entities.
• Service Status: Must be an active-duty service member within 180 days of separation (EAS/EAOS/RETSHO).• Command Authorization: Must obtain written approval from their Unit Commander prior to start date.• Conduct: Must be in good standing and eligible for an Honorable Discharge.
