Omni Federal’s Engineering SkillBridge Program plan outlines Omni’s Training Objectives, and Defined Tasks, as well as a Schedule of Events broken down into 4 modules. At the conclusion of each module, Omni will assess the Intern against their technical knowledge/proficiency against the curriculum’s content.
Omni Federal will leverage proven curriculum & assessments from the Digital University (DU) platform, as we have been intimately involved in the design, development, and operations of the platform. Specifically, the Development Plan includes a mixture of hands-on, paired and semi-paired coding with Omni engineers, upskilling through targeted course work (provided through Digital U) & assessments in the following key skill areas: - Front end web development utilizing React and Next.js- Back end development utilizing node and Postgres, software system architecture, source code management, testing strategies, and team collaboration with agile development methodologies- DevOps introduction and engineering
