Ataero SkillBridge Internship OpportunityFleet Training Support Intern (SkillBridge)Location: Patuxent River, MDSchedule: Full-Time (SkillBridge Internship)Start Date: Coordinated with approved SkillBridge windowAtaero SkillBridge Internship OpportunityInternship SummaryThe Fleet Training Support Intern will participate in a Department of Defense SkillBridge internship supporting Ataero in collaboration with the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) and the Marine Corps Spectrum Integration Laboratory (MCSIL) for the Intrepid Tiger II (IT II) program of record.Under the mentorship of experienced Ataero professionals, the intern will gain hands-on exposure to fleet training support, electromagnetic spectrum operations, and DoD program execution. The intern will assist in aligning training activities with fleet operational requirements and support the planning, development, and delivery of training solutions to DoD end users and repair facilities.This internship is designed to provide real-world experience that supports a smooth transition from military service to the civilian workforce.Key Internship ResponsibilitiesUnder supervision and guidance, the intern will:Assist with the delivery and coordination of fleet training instruction to support operational needsSupport IT II training and operational activities during select training events and large-force exercisesHelp ensure training support is delivered in a consistent, predictable, and professional mannerContribute to training development efforts related to personnel, resources, and operational functionsAssist with routine system maintenance support and documentation of upgrades or changesSupport coordination of training methods, instructional materials, and media with fleet stakeholdersParticipate in professional engagement with government and operational personnelSupport quality control efforts and customer service objectives to ensure successful project execution\Minimum Eligibility RequirementsActive-duty service member approved for participation in the DoD SkillBridge ProgramBackground or experience in Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (e.g., Radio Battalion, EA-6B/EA-18G, ECMO, ECM Technician, EW support roles)Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearanceStrong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skillsBasic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams)Preferred Experience (Not Required)Previous experience supporting fleet training, technical systems, or operational unitsPrior instructor, trainer, or mentorship experience (military or civilian)Ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) clearanceExposure to highly technical systems or fleet support program environmentsStrong written and verbal communication skillsSkillBridge Program NotesThis position is offered under the DoD SkillBridge ProgramInterns remain on active-duty status and continue to receive military pay and benefitsAtaero does not provide additional compensation during the SkillBridge internshipSuccessful completion may be considered for future employment opportunities, contingent upon performance, company needs, and funding availabilityTravelMinimum travel may be required in support of training or operational events in local areaJob ID: SKB122025
