Through continuous leadership training, mentorship, and hands-on projects, participants will develop the skills needed to succeed in the telecommunications industry. Widelity’s program will equip candidates with expertise in designing, installing, programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications equipment and systems across the radio frequency (RF), data, and security sectors. Participants will receive hands-on training in diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing mobile communications equipment while learning to operate testing tools and apply fundamental RF theory. Additionally, they will gain experience with enterprise-level security systems as well as data solutions such as Wi-Fi broadband, IoT, and LTE. Through this program, candidates will have the opportunity to support customers in critical industries, including public safety, law enforcement, healthcare, education, and commercial sectors, playing a vital role in serving our communities and nation.
Widelity’s SkillBridge program provides transitioning service members with hands-on training and real-world experience in the telecommunications industry. Participants will develop the technical skills needed to design, install, and maintain complex network infrastructures, preparing them for a successful civilian career. Through this program, individuals will gain expertise in wireless networks, public safety communications, and distributed antenna systems (DAS). They will work with industry-standard equipment, learning how to optimize network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure reliable communication for critical applications. Additionally, participants will gain insight into industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies shaping the future of telecommunications. By the end of the program, candidates will be equipped with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to pursue careers in network engineering, RF communications, and telecommunications infrastructure, supporting industries such as public safety, healthcare, education, and commercial enterprises.
