STS Aviation Services is seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to participate in our SkillBridge Program, designed to support transitioning service members as they enter the civilian workforce. This program provides hands-on experience in aviation maintenance within a Part 145 repair station, allowing participants to gain practical skills, industry knowledge, and exposure to real-world operations.Participants will work alongside experienced technicians and leadership, receiving structured training in aircraft maintenance practices, safety procedures, regulatory compliance, and operational workflows. The program is intended to bridge the gap between military experience and civilian aviation careers, helping individuals build confidence, enhance technical competencies, and prepare for long-term employment opportunities within the aviation industry.
Accomplishing assignments with little or no rework required. Reading and interpreting AMMs, SRMs, Safety Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, FAA regulations, airworthiness directives, and blueprints involving various repairs, part locations, and replacement. Troubleshooting aircraft systems and removing/replacing/repairing IAW approved data. Demonstrating knowledge of aircraft systems.Following safety procedures, FAA regulations, and company policies and procedures. Keeping work area clean and neat at all times. Any other duties assigned by Lead Technician.
Target MOCs preferred but not required.
