In this hands-on role, you’ll work independently to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex electrical systems that power cutting-edge industrial equipment. You'll collaborate with engineers and operators, interpret technical schematics, and apply your expertise to ensure safe and efficient operations. To be considered for this opportunity, here’s what you will need to bring with you:• High School diploma or GED preferred.• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer instructions in English.• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.• Minimum of 5 years electrician work experience.• Proficiency in electrical craft and basic computer skills.• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders/stairs, and work in tight spaces.Participants will learn how to do the following (if not already well versed):• Repair and maintain electrical systems and components.• Install power supply wiring and troubleshoot malfunctions.• Replace faulty components such as relays, switches, motors, and fixtures.• Prepare maintenance and repair reports.• Read and interpret work orders, schematics, and safety manuals.• Coordinate with operators, engineers, and managers on maintenance activities.• Inspect and maintain transformers, circuit breakers, and wiring.• Use test equipment to ensure electrical safety and compatibility.
