The White House, Executive Office of the President, Office of Administration (EOP POTUS)
Physical Security Division (PSD) is responsible for the protection against unauthorized access to the facilities, personnel, equipment, and documents of the Executive Office of the President. Security Assistants provide a full range of administrative, clerical, and technical support to the Division.
ABOUT THE JOB
PSD seeks individuals to assist Physical Security Specialists in executing security regulations, policies and procedures including issuing employee, contractor, visitor badges, and Personal Identification Verification (PIV) credentials for civilian and contractor personnel.
RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
- Pre-employment drug test
- Eligibility for TS clearance
- U.S. Citizen
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program and have completed two semesters before the internship start date, or have graduated from such a program no more than two years before the internship start date, or are a veteran of the United States Armed Forces with a high school diploma or its equivalent and served on active duty within the last two years
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
Pre-employment drug test; eligibility for TS clearance. U.S. Citizen, minimum 18 years of age, and must meet at least one of the following criteria: Are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college, community college, or university (two-to-four-year institution) and have completed two semesters before the internship start date. Have graduated from an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college, community college, or university (two- or four- year institution) no more than two years before the internship program start date. Are a veteran of the United States Armed Forces who possesses a high school diploma or its equivalent and has served on active duty for any length of time in the two years preceding the internship program start date.
