SkillBridge is a DoD-wide program, as a Department of Defense (DoD) facility, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) and Trident Refit Facility (TRF) participate in the DoD SkillBridge program to help provide transitioning service members with valuable work experience and support their transition to civilian careers. Any Code or shop at either facility is authorized to utilize SkillBridge for blue collar, white collar. entry and professional positions. While SkillBridge internships are not guaranteed, and job offers are not automatic, past performance indicates a high success rate in interns securing Federal employment upon completion of the program.
