Responsible for ensuring program aircraft are inspected and maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, ADs, company policies, and industry best practices.
Must have FAA A&P License Responsible to have a thorough knowledge of and compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations ; Aeronautical Information Manual; Geisinger’s General Operations Manual guidelines, and General Maintenance Manual as applicable. Performs daily inspections to assigned aircraft. Performs reviews of aircraft and aircraft records. Documents discrepancies and makes repairs per applicable manuals. Performs repairs and maintenance activities to the assigned aircraft. Updates and maintains maintenance manuals, service bulletins, parts books, and regulatory updates, and other technical directives as required and or directed. Coordinates ordering, shipping, and receiving of parts, supplies, tooling and warranty claim parts with the program base of operations. Coordinates aircraft maintenance scheduling. Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. Prepares and maintains documentation related to work activities in accordance with regulations. Corrects any hazardous or unsafe practices as reports them accordingly.
