PMS 450 - Logistics - On the job training

Our SkillBridge on-the-job training program offers a comprehensive, structured approach to prepare participants for mission-critical civilian roles within TSUB. It combines formal training, covering onboarding, orientation, workplace skills, leadership fundamentals, and role-specific technical skills, with engagement opportunities such as mentoring, milestone check-ins, peer cohort support, job shadowing, and cross-group exposure. This multifaceted plan emphasizes professional conduct, communication, ethics, and emotional intelligence while fostering career development through hands-on experiences and networking. We will conduct continuous evaluation through participant and mentor surveys to ensure program quality and effectiveness.

ABOUT THE JOB

Logistics Management Specialist personnel are responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating logistics actions to support specified missions and programs. They provide expertise across budget, manpower, materials, facilities, and services and weigh requirements with program plans to ensure resources are distributed appropriately and activities align with schedules and funding. Day-to-day, the specialist develops and maintains integrated support plans, tracks milestones and risks, partners with engineering, supply, maintenance, training, and operations teams, prepares decision-ready briefs and reports, coordinates fleet and stakeholder communications, and answers questions related to SWS technical operations and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES✨

• Planning, coordinating, and evaluating logistics actions to support specified missions and programs.
• Developing and maintaining integrated support plans, tracking milestones and risks.
• Partnering with engineering, supply, maintenance, training, and operations teams.
• Preparing decision-ready briefs and reports, coordinating fleet and stakeholder communications.
• Answering questions related to SWS technical operations and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS✨

• An active Secret security clearance.
• A High School Diploma (some college preferred).
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• A LPO/LCPO or above rank.
• Core skills: Leadership, Communication, Problem Solving, Adaptability, Teamwork.
