The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining equipment in proper working order. This will involve conducting repairs in both the shop and field.
• Inspect equipment, structures, materials, etc. to identify the cause of problems or failures• Drive vehicles or mechanized equipment to and from location and operating it to complete jobs as necessary• Minimize equipment downtime by conducting routine maintenance as well as preventative maintenance measures to avoid failures • Perform routine maintenance functions on assigned fleet of equipment• Conduct other maintenance repairs or duties as assigned by supervisor• Maintains assigned wireline unit, tools, equipment and facilities in a neat, working condition• Frequently update supervisor on status of wireline fleet• Update and maintain all required repair logs in a timely manner • Observes safety and security rules and procedures and immediately reports potentially unsafe conditions. Utilizes Stop Work Authority when necessary. • Maintain the highest possible safety standards at all times and uphold company, customer, and industry HSE policies
