As a SkillBridge Research Analyst, you will support the Ted Steven's Center's mission by conducting strategic research on Arctic security, geopolitics, and regional dynamics.
Responsibilities include analyzing policy developments, contributing to white papers and strategic assesments, and supporting engagment initiatives with interagency and international partners. The role provides hands-on experience in Arctic-focused security studies, defense policy, and research methodologies, preparing transitioning service members for careers in national security, policy analysis, or academic research.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.- Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau).- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Research experience - military intelligence, operations research, or other analytical backgrounds can be relevant.
