Our DoD-approved F45 SkillBridge Fitness Internship Training Program is a comprehensive, up-to-6-month professional development pathway designed to help transitioning service members build the skills, confidence, and real-world experience needed to launch a successful career in the fitness industry.Through a structured, progressive curriculum—interns learn every major aspect of fitness coaching, studio management operations, member experience, and the F45 brand ecosystem.The program combines hands-on coaching practice, classroom-style education, mentorship, and technology-driven learning to prepare each intern to operate at the level of a highly effective F45 Coach from day one. Because every intern enters the program with different fitness and leadership backgrounds, the curriculum is designed to be flexible, adaptive, and paced to individual growth.Program Structure:• Length: Up to 12 - 26 weeks in length (pending command approval)• Training Environment: On-site at an official F45 Military Host Studio• Focus Areas: Coaching, technology, studio operations, member engagement, leadership, social media, and administrative skillsDuring the first 12 weeks, interns progress through a weekly development model that covers:Weeks 0–2: Foundations of Coaching-Understanding fundamental movement patterns-Building cueing skills and corrective techniques-Learning the F45 coaching philosophy—teach, motivate, inspire-Creating personalized experiences in a group fitness settingWeeks 3–5: Coaching With Technology & Leading Sessions-Operating F45TV, timers, formats, and workout preparation-Running demos, warm-ups, and assistant-coach responsibilities-Using MindBody for member check-in, billing, and class management-Advancing to Lead Coach, running full classes start-to-finishWeeks 6–8: Member Success, Body Scans & Social Media-Administering InBody/body scans & interpreting results-Supporting members through the F45 Challenge (nutrition, training, accountability)-Managing studio social media for one week, including photos, videos, content strategy, and community engagementWeeks 9–10: Event Execution & Troubleshooting-Setting up and running the F45 Playoffs testing event-Managing equipment, rep counting, and performance scoring-Troubleshooting common studio challenges (music, tech, WiFi, power, timing systems)-Solo-coaching and leadership readinessWeeks 11–12: Professionalism, Innovation & Mastery-Continuing development through F45 Academy-Learning how to onboard members, lead consultations, and support member transformations-Practicing full studio open/close procedures-Role-playing intros, tours, demos, and membership conversations-Synthesizing all core coaching and operations skillsWeeks 13–26: Extended Professional Development-Interns who remain beyond 12 weeks focus on deeper studio integration, including:-Administrative responsibilities-Head Trainer-level duties-Studio leadership, operations, and ownership insights-Strengthening coaching, technology proficiency, and member experience
F45 Training studios are looking for a passionate, energetic, and knowledgeable Fitness Instructor / Group Fitness Coach / Personal Trainer / Strength Coach / Group Trainer / Fitness Trainer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate brings enthusiasm for helping people transform their lives and has experience in one or more areas of fitness, including HIIT, strength training, functional training, circuit training, bootcamp-style workouts, cardio conditioning, mobility training, and athletic performance.You must be comfortable leading groups, demonstrating exercises, cueing proper form, coaching technique, and motivating clients in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided.
