The workforce of Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division (NWSC PHD) consists of civilian and military employees whose focus is the safe and effective operation of weapon and combat systems for the Navy. Come provide America's Naval surface fleet with integration, test, and evaluation, life-cycle logistics concepts, and product support for today's and tomorrow's warfare systems as a Logistics Management Specialist NT-0346-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent).
ABOUT THE JOB
The Deputy Capabilities Lead will provide essential support across various aspects of capabilities project management, content creation, and user experience optimization to ensure the effective communication and delivery of capabilities innovations to stakeholders. The Deputy will also conduct research and analysis on capabilities initiatives, develop comprehensive plans for implementation, and utilize data visualization tools to measure the effectiveness of implemented strategies. Additionally, the Deputy will contribute to innovative solutions and have a deeper understanding of the NAVSEA Enterprise and its role in supporting the Navy's mission.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide essential support across various aspects of capabilities project management
- Contribute to content creation and user experience optimization
- Conduct research and analysis on capabilities initiatives
- Develop comprehensive plans for implementation
- Utilize data visualization tools to measure the effectiveness of implemented strategies
- Contribute to innovative solutions and have a deeper understanding of the NAVSEA Enterprise and its role in supporting the Navy's mission
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment
- Required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty

The majority of our personnel work at the Port Hueneme site, situated on the Southern California coastline midway between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles, at Naval Base Ventura County in the city of Port Hueneme. Some of our other locations include San Diego, CA; Virginia Beach, Virginia; and White Sands, NM comprise the rest of the workforce.
