Ministry Program Coordinator - Internship

Flourishing Grace Church SkillBridge Program offers transitioning service members hands-on training in ministry and nonprofit administration. Available in both short-term (60-day) and full-length (180-day) tracks, trainees gain practical experience in volunteer coordination, event planning, community outreach, financial stewardship, and organizational leadership under the direct supervision of an experienced Program Director with 20+ years in ministry and nonprofit management. This program prepares candidates for careers as Ministry Program Coordinators and nonprofit administrators. Candidates must adhere to Flourishing Grace Church's Statement of Faith as a condition of participation.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Ministry Program Coordinator at Flourishing Grace Church oversees day-to-day operations of a faith-based nonprofit organization. Key responsibilities include: volunteer recruitment and management, church and community event planning and coordination, community outreach program design and implementation, administrative support and office operations management, faith-based ministry program development and curriculum design, financial management and donor stewardship, communications and digital media management, pastoral care coordination, HR and staff development, grant writing, strategic planning, and facilities management. Trainees will rotate through all functional areas over 26 weeks, culminating in an independent capstone ministry project and comprehensive employment readiness review.

Candidates must be actively transitioning service members within 180 days of separation or retirement. Participants must agree to and adhere to Flourishing Grace Church's Statement of Faith as a condition of program participation. Must be able to work on-site in Bountiful, Utah. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills preferred.
