McIntosh Area School is a VPK–5th grade public charter school in McIntosh, Florida sponsored by Marion County Public Schools. We are seeking one Navy SkillBridge participant for a full-time classroom teaching internship with an emphasis in Social Studies, History, and Civics at the K–5 level.
This placement is designed to support the participant's pursuit of Florida teacher certification through the Military Veterans Certification Pathway. The intern will progress through four structured phases: classroom observation, co-teaching, lead instruction, and independent teaching under principal supervision.
