Under general supervision, the Capacity Procurement Representative is responsible the for the strategic negotiation of rates to meet load expectations while ensuring optimal margins. The incumbent will market the J.B. Hunt Carrier360 platform to carriers in order to increase efficiency and freight movement visibility. The incumbent is responsible for establishing and maintaining a carrier base, ensuring freight is covered in a timely manner, and delivering best in class service execution.
Strong people relations skills with at least 3 years of military experience (minimum E-3). Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends.
