USACE Baltimore Internship

This is a developmental position re-engineered at less than the full performance level for recruitment and training purposes. The duties of the position are similar to those of the target grade GS-0809-12. Performs entry level work with assignments designed to provide the competencies, skills, and experience required to perform the more complex work at the full performance grade level. The work increases in difficulty, complexity, and responsibility as the incumbent gains experience and demonstrates a full comprehension of assigned work.

ABOUT THE JOB

CONSTRUCTION CONTROL REPRESENTATIVE - We are seeking a motivated intern to join our team as a Construction Control Representative through the CENAB-Skillbridge program, supporting projects at Fort George Meade and Joint Base Andrews, MD. This hands-on internship offers experience in construction quality control, involving daily inspections of work in place, reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications, and ensuring projects adhere to established standards and safety protocols – requiring local travel between sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills. This position provides valuable mentorship, contributes to vital national defense projects, and requires a valid driver’s license.
