Concordant Cyber Security Program

The Cybersecurity Engineer Intern will assist Concordant’s IT Solutions Group with cybersecurity assessments, CMMC readiness support, ExtraHop® implementation projects, and internal IT security maintenance. This role provides hands-on experience in federal cybersecurity compliance and network security, ideal for candidates pursuing certifications like Certified CMMC Professional, Certified CMMC Assessor, and ExtraHop training.

ABOUT THE JOB

Concordant is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer Intern to support its IT Solutions Group in delivering cybersecurity assessment, advisory, and implementation services. This role involves assisting with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) readiness and assessments, supporting ExtraHop® network monitoring implementations, and helping maintain Concordant’s internal IT security infrastructure. The ideal candidate has completed or is enrolled in training such as Certified CMMC Professional, Certified CMMC Assessor, and ExtraHop certifications. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in federal cybersecurity compliance and network security implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with cybersecurity assessments
• Support CMMC readiness and assessments
• Support ExtraHop network monitoring implementations
• Help maintain Concordant's internal IT security infrastructure

QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrolled in or completed training for Certified CMMC Professional
• Enrolled in or completed training for Certified CMMC Assessor
• Enrolled in or completed ExtraHop certifications
