The Vehicle Build Supervisor (VBS) is a supervisory role that is accountable for the performance and output of the vehicle build teams. The VBS ensures the project work is performed as scheduled with first time quality work to the highest standard. The VBS must coordinate with the Floor Manager and other VBS to ensure resources and equipment are efficiently used. We expect that the VBS will understand Raglan’s standards, expectations, processes, and procedures within 4 months.
The vehicle build supervisor is a critical member of the vehicle build team. The vehicle build supervisor is the first-line supervisor overseeing the daily activities of two build teams on Raglan’s commercial or government projects. Build supervisors oversee the day-to-day activities of the mechanics, fabricators, and technicians assigned to each vehicle build. The build supervisor is the expert on safety, the build process, procedures, and vehicle construction. The build supervisor is the go-to trainer for the labor force to ensure first time quality work on the vehicles.
