Job Title: Diesel TechnicianJob Description: Perform preventative maintenance. Develop and improve maintenance skills. Performand complete inspections and recalls. Perform diagnostics and complete truck/engine repairsLength of Training: 4 to 6 months

ABOUT THE JOB

Diesel Mechanic - Provide excellent customer service, complete thorough vehicle inspections, and document needed repairs. Perform Preventative Maintenance on Medium/Heavy Trucks and Trailers including but not limited to: Oil Changes, Lube Checks, Coolant Checks, Fluid Checks, Battery, Belts and Hose Checks, Brake Inspections and DOT (federal annual DOT inspections).Diagnose issues and repairs of: HVAC, Starting and Charging systems, Brakes, Engine Cooling, Exhaust, Fuel System, Suspension including alignments, Steering, After treatment (DEF and DPF) systems, Air systems and Electrical systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventative maintenance on Medium/Heavy Trucks and Trailers
• Complete thorough vehicle inspections and document needed repairs
• Diagnose and repair issues in various truck systems including HVAC, Brakes, Engine Cooling, Exhaust, Fuel System, Suspension, Steering, After treatment systems, Air systems, and Electrical systems
