We use the time prior to their finite internship dates to complete our required HR processes that also include a 3 to 5 month (on average) full CBP Background Investigation (BI) that MUST be completed prior to internship start dates.LOCATIONWashington, D.C.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis role involves conducting strategic research and analysis projects, either individually or collaboratively, focusing on the nature and prevalence of corruption and misconduct, including employee arrests. The findings from these projects are utilized for integrity awareness, transparency, and accountability initiatives. The incumbent collaborates with colleagues to develop and apply criteria that support trend analyses. A key responsibility includes reviewing and analyzing data to ensure compliance with established quality standards and producing reports for management accountability initiatives. Additionally, the position entails delivering training and briefings to support the comprehensive IOD integrity strategy. These training sessions and briefings are provided to diverse audiences, including newly hired and journey-level officers and agents, supervisors, and international audiences, both domestically across the United States and in various international locations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required for the Position:Ability to plan, organize, and direct responses across organizational lines, to include ensuring realistic objectives and milestones are established, clearly assigning responsibilities, monitoring progress, and ensuring responses are submitted in a timely manner. Time management and interpersonal skills to anticipate and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced transactional environment.
