Teacher Assistant Career Training Program is designed to provide transitioning service members with hands-on training and professional development in both Regular Education and Special Education instructional support environments within a public school setting.
Participants will gain experience in:• Classroom instructional support• Student supervision and behavior management• Special education support services• Clerical and organizational responsibilities• Communication and collaboration with educational staff• Safety procedures and student wellness support• Educational technology and classroom software• Individualized student support strategies• IEP implementation and accommodations• Professional conduct within a school environment
