Nabholz is proud to offer an approved SkillBridge training opportunity designed to introduce transitioning service members to the fundamentals of the carpentry / construction trade. This program provides real‑world, hands‑on experience that prepares participants for meaningful careers in the construction industry.
Throughout your training, you will develop a strong foundation in key carpentry competencies, including:• Site Layout & PreparationLearn how to read basic construction plans, measure and mark site features, and prepare work areas for construction tasks.• Tool FundamentalsGain hands-on experience with essential tools of the trade, including saws, levels, drills, and measurement systems. You’ll learn proper use, care, and safety for each tool.• Forms & FramingWork alongside experienced Nabholz carpenters to build and set forms, construct frames, and learn the underlying principles of carpentry structure and support.• Installation SkillsParticipate in real installation activities such as setting doors, hardware, trim, and other carpentry components used on active projects.
