As an Aerospace Sourcing and Inside Sales Representative, you will focus on sourcing and quoting aerospace and aviation products. Your role is at the forefront of engaging with existing customers, and you will be directly responsible for sourcing and quoting aerospace products using our proprietary software.Your primary goal is to build and nurture positive connections with customers to grow their business with Jaco Aerospace.
Key Responsibilities:Qualify potential customers to ensure they are appropriate buyers for our products.Gain a deeper understanding of customer urgency to ensure that requests for quotations (RFQs) are processed in alignment with their needs.Use our proprietary software platform to source and quote aerospace, aviation, and space-related products.Ensure RFQ entries are entered properly to avoid errors.Manage a high volume of customer RFQs, ensuring timely and accurate responses.Provide precise pricing and delivery estimates through our quoting system.Build and maintain long-term relationships with both customers and suppliers.Communicate directly with customers via phone and email.Maintain and update customer and vendor records in our system.Use consistent pricing strategies, ensuring that the same products are sold at the same price to the same customers.Prioritize quick and easy wins, ensuring timely follow-ups on customer RFQs.Oversee customer order management and direct customer feedback to relevant departments.Identify and source new suppliers to expand our product offerings.Actively reach out to primary vendor contacts for sourcing and collaboration.Negotiate pricing, lead times, and quality standards with both new and existing suppliers.
